VecDyn Progress Update (now in official beta)

Our VecDyn database (link), is a database architected to contain datasets of vector population dynamics, incorporating data from years of vector research. While the VectorByte team have been focused on updating VecTraits for release, we have been working in the background on the VecDyn backbone and architecture.

The first snapshot is where we started a few months ago, and the second shows where we are now with what we are officially calling VecDyn beta version.

We’ve added a map so users can see where data is geographically from and (like on VecTraits) cleaned up the data presentation to reduce unnecessary column scrolling.

Watch this space, we have more features planned and have been curating data to add to the next release.

Please visit the VecDyn database and let us know if you have any feedback or comments.
